Patricia RAIN Gianneschi

“Patricia RAIN Gianneschi is a multimedia artist who uses painting, words, performance, and music to explore imagination and spirit. Her work is an act of becoming and creating, a spiritual and existential journey where each piece represents a transformative experience. Through abstraction and visual narrative, she invites the viewer into a suspended space where matter becomes a vehicle for deep insight. Materials such as plaster, threads, natural pigments, and textiles form porous, layered surfaces that reveal rather than conceal-like sensitive skin breathing memory and time. The painting gesture is slow, meditative, almost ritualistic. Her works do not aim to represent reality, but to evoke what remains after experience: an intention, a vibration, an echo. Symbolism plays a central role: circles, seeds, totemic bodies speak of birth, transformation, and cosmic connection. Hers is a secular spirituality, nourished by universal archetypes and a deeply feminine, ancestral vision. The forms recall the body, motherhood, biological and collective memory, interwoven with myth and silenced histories. In her works, Patricia experiments with minimal, monochromatic forms, often "un-painting" her surfaces to create space for silence, texture, and hidden text. These secret messages reflect an urgency to give voice to what has been removed or forgotten. In a world dominated by speed and visual overload, her art is an invitation to slowness, contemplation, and listening. It does not seek immediate answers, but opens inner spaces where symbol, gesture, and material become tools for reflection and poetic resistance. It is an art that thinks, that feels— one that reminds us of the transformative power of silence and imagination” — Matilde Della Pina
